Let’s figure this out, together.

Living with ADHD as a woman, or someone who identifies as female, often means feeling overwhelmed, disorganized, or stuck in self-doubt. You’ve likely spent years trying to “fix” yourself, but the truth is, ADHD doesn’t need fixing — it needs understanding.

Individual counseling at Flourish & Focus ADHD meets you where you are. Through one-on-one sessions, we uncover the “why” behind your struggles and create practical strategies tailored to your life.

Does this sound like you?

Here are some of the struggles we hear most often:

  • Why can’t I get my brain to shut off?

  • I’m so overwhelmed I don’t even know where to start.

  • I’m always late, no matter how hard I try.

  • People are going to see the real me, and I’m terrified.

  • Why is this so much harder for me than everyone else?

  • I have to be productive and feel busy, I can’t just waste time.

These feelings and experiences are real. And they’re not your fault. ADHD in women is often misunderstood, which leads to years of frustration and masking. But here’s the good news: it doesn’t have to stay this way.

Curious if your symptoms match ADHD?

What makes our approach different?

Therapy designed for ADHD women, by someone who gets it.

ADHD therapy isn’t about trying harder or forcing yourself into a neurotypical mold. At Flourish & Focus, we:

  • Work with your brain, not against it

  • Focus on understanding why you feel stuck, not just fixing the surface-level symptoms

  • Use humor and relatability to make the hard work feel lighter

  • Celebrate small wins because they lead to big transformations

No two women with ADHD are the same, and your therapy shouldn’t be either. Together, we’ll create strategies that fit your life and honor your unique strengths.

How it works

What to expect from one-on-one sessions

Our process is designed to feel approachable and effective so you leave every session feeling more confident:

  • We’ll start by understanding your unique challenges and strengths. We will identify what matters most to you — whether that’s feeling less overwhelmed, improving relationships, or tackling procrastination.

  • Together, we’ll create ADHD-friendly tools and routines that fit your life. Our care plan can consist of any combination of the following;

    • ADHD strategies

    • Educational tools

    • Relationship skills

    • Coping skills to manage emotions

    • Strategies to organize your life

    • Trauma processing

    • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)

    • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

  • Each session builds on the last, celebrating your progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
